It&#8217;s depend on which supermarket we buy, the price is very reasonable $1-1.49\/lb, with our family of 5, 1 &#8211; 4-5lbs chicken will feed the whole family with some left over for lunch (there&#8217;s any that less than 4lbs sold). We don&#8217;t <a class=\"ib\" title=\"don't wash the chicken before cooking\" href=\"\/\/www.dognmonkey.com\/svlife\/dont-wash-chicken-before-cooking-it.html\">wash the chicken,<\/a> just cut to split it in half so it can be done faster since we don&#8217;t have much time to cook it. I like chicken livers, heats and gizzards, so I got some for added tastes (the Lucky and Safeway do carry frozen ones or Ranch 99 have them fresh). I always get the smallest packages and the unused ones I put them in the zip lock bags and put in the freezer for the next cook. We don&#8217;t have to put any fish sauce, but it does help to taste better.
