It looks like I have to back up my data, apps and reformat the darn drive. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"Lion 10.7.4 installed over Mountain Lion 10.8\" href=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=77EASnaX9Us&amp;hd=1\">Lion installed over Mountain Lion<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/77EASnaX9Us?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So, if you jump the gun and installed or <em>upgraded your Lion to Mountain Lion and found out that you don&#8217;t like it so much and you want your pretty Lion back without reformatting the drive with all your apps and data. I haven&#8217;t finished doing the downgrade on my i5 P8Z68 board yet. Yes, everything is there with the new Lion 10.7.4 using myHack Lion installer. The problem I have right now is I can&#8217;t access to the &#8220;desktop and screensaver panes&#8221; to change the desktop display and power saving management. Everything else work as it was in Mountain Lion, except some icons were missing because Lion doesn&#8217;t have the apps for them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"preview\" title=\"desktop and screensavers panes failed to load\" href=\"\/media\/macosx\/ml2lion\/desktopfail.png\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"desktop and screen savers panes failed to load\" src=\"\/media\/macosx\/ml2lion\/desktopfail.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"125\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><\/em><em>Yes, it&#8217;s not that hard but not that simple. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>1. You will have to<a title=\"fix user password lion\" href=\"\/\/www.dognmonkey.com\/techs\/reset-users-password-in-lion-10-7-x.html\"> fix the password<\/a> because Lion will boot with the user account but wiped out the password. That wasn&#8217;t very easy because most of the ways on the internet were missing a key. Luckily I found the key on one of the post some where on the internet.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><\/em><em>2. Ethernet works as it was in Mountain Lion.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><\/em><em>3.
