Sometimes, we have to check our settings\/apps to see which applications are active in our accounts, delete or modify the ways they notify people using our accounts. In the last few days, I kept receiving all these notifications from a &#8220;closefriend&#8221; and I know she wouldn&#8217;t have time to send these links to me, I contacted her and sure enough she didn&#8217;t do it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"preview\" href=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/sm_spam.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[face]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"facebook spam notifications\" src=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/tn_spam.jpg\" alt=\"facebook spam\" width=\"250\" height=\"153\" \/><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a class=\"preview\" href=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/spam1.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[face]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\" title=\"the account owner doesn't know\" src=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/spam1.jpg\" alt=\"account owner doesn't know\" width=\"264\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>So, I went to my account, look at the settings, Apps to see what apps I&#8217;ve authorized to post on my behalf to make sure none of these are doing things that I don&#8217;t know about. I didn&#8217;t have many no-name accounts.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><\/em><a class=\"preview\" href=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/sm_accountsettings.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[face]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"log-in and go to account settings\" src=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/tn_accountsettings.jpg\" alt=\"settings\" width=\"213\" height=\"164\" \/><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a class=\"preview\" href=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/sm_apps.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[face]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"click apps to see the list\" src=\"\/media\/internet\/facebook\/tn_apps.jpg\" alt=\"Apps\" width=\"250\" height=\"164\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Each of these Apps should have an &#8220;edit&#8221; and &#8220;x&#8221; at the end for us to edit or remove the app. In my opinions, remove all Apps that we don&#8217;t know and edit all Apps that we know.
