These days with new Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext, ACPI power management is taken care of by using PluginType1 like SSDT-PLUG.aml. The old way of using SSDTPRGEN.sh seems to go away, but I’ve found for some laptops with Catalina, this one is still the best for sleep/wake, speed steps and performing just like Windows would.
To get the Yosemite to work perfectly is to get the speed steps and turbo working by generate SSDT for our system. The only program that works is ssdtPRGen.sh written by Piker-Alpha.
