The new macOS Monterey’s came out, most of the new features were written for the M1 CPU which Intel CPUs don’t benefit but many components were dropped and it’s not working very well with the new Monterey. Many people forgot to turn off the auto update that caused the update to crash the system and not very easy to recover from macOS Big Sur. Make sure to turn the auto update for OS to OFF.
