Audi Park Assist Plus started on 2023 A8L D5 to help parking automatically when found a parking spot. It would need a physical button and software for it to work. It can be remote parked using the phone through Audi connect. I haven’s seen the actually demo on the A8L but I’m trying to use OBDEleven to code and bought the button from Aliexpress for $67. The software part seems to be done, now I need to replace the old 2 button with 3 buttons assembly. The difference between A8L system from others like Q5 is the button, the car needs the button to start parking automatically without the need of accelerator and brake.
1. The first one we need is the coding for Maneuver assistance. This one to steer and brake at obstacles front and rear of the car, even on the wheels getting too close to the curb. This one is quite easy to code and it’s a must have on our Audi A8L.
2. Coding for the Intelligent Parking Assistance (IPA) or PA to use all the sensors and cameras to detect the parking spaces.
1. We must enable Maneuver Assist before anything else to make sure it works. Modules needed are 9, 44, 5, 19 and 3.
