I wanted to add roof rack for my skis rack on my 2019 A8 D5 and I found these Apline ACE-407 and V136 Aero Bars that don’t fit the car even the shop said it was compatible. The bars are only 51″ and the with of the car is wider than 51″. I think at least 58″ to be good. The mounting bracket on the roof is too long to catch the inside of the door frame.
The bar is 3″ wide, the length is 51″.
The bar is too short that the screw on the feet couldn’t go through to be tighten when done.
This is totally a wrong set, won’t work even with 58″ bar, the profile of the A8 D5 roof is too short unless the brackets are much shorter. If moved to inside the roof too much will block the moon roof from opening.
