Sometimes we decided to use the cigarette lighters for playing videos or portable GPS and none of them have power. We check the fuses and everything is in order. What else could it be? After going to the Audiworld to check with other A8 users and someone suggested the rear window switch, and it was off by accident. Turn it on and voila, all the cigarette lighters have power, again. Simple isn’t it?

Is the power always on for the cigarette power sockets? I could have sworn that it turns off after a bit when you lock the car. The power is always on, making my dashcam record 24hrs a day. I have to unplug it when I leave the car.
