If you don’t want to spend a lot of money for AMI system, you can use Analog TV Tuner to stream Audio
This is the best way and very solid.
1. AMI to Auxiliary cable – works with all 2G & 3G .
2. USB Dongle –
I got a new iPhone 6 and it has lightning 8 pins connector which doesn’t fit the AMI 30 pin connector that comes with my Audi Q7 and A8. I tried the new bluetooth adaptor for 30 pins dock and it works perfectly with both iPhone 6 and Android phones. Now I don’t have to connect old iPod and iPhone to the AMI any more, the music will be streaming wirelessly on the fly. All we need is to buy this one

Hi there, thank you so much for the videos. I have connected the Bluetooth dongle thru a ami cable to the car, paired the Bluetooth dongle with my iPhone 6. However, there were no messages suggesting any initialisation with the Bluetooth dongle.
When I click to go into the screen to choose the source of audio, I do not see my phone on display, and the ami connection suggests that no device is detected.
Please advice.
Hello John,
As soon as it’s connected, you can see the speaker icon NOT slashed out, it’s working, just play the music after you paired with iLive bluetooth. Yes, it doesn’t show your songs or anything like that. It’s not the best way to play music these days, but it works.
