On July 19th, 2025, we took a hike to Muir Beach Trail in Muir Woods National Monuments, CA. We originally wanted to hike in the main Muir Woods National Monuments but due to parking was full, we parked on the side of the road and took the Muir Beach Trail. It’s actually a very nice trail, but if we really wanted to go to Muir Beach, we have to walk at least 2.6 miles which we turned back after we got to the road. In order to park in the parking area, we need to reserve parking before we get there.
