Since Ambarella chipset used in Gopro is expensive, I prefer Novatek over Chinese chipset. I found this Andoer 4K 20MP at Walmart for $40. The camera is quite good with all the features except no CAR mode, I have to manually turn it on when used as a dash cam. It’s very hard to get a spare battery since this one only last about 1 hr, 3.8V 1200mAh with the connections the same as Xiaomi Yi. I always buy a few spare batteries to travel with to the beach since it has waterproof case.
I like lightdow which I’ve bought quite a few for dash cams and travels. Now the price is much higher due to semiconductor shortages.
