Red Rock Canyon State Park, CA

This summer,  we tried to visit as many sceneries of California as we can since our children are older and no longer want to travel with us. Since we’ve bought our A8L D5, we love to drive it so much that we would use it to travel everywhere.  We’ve been in the ocean, now we wanted to see red rock formation. Instead of going to Vegas we went closer to Red Rock Canyon State Park, to visit Hagen Nature Trail, Red Cliffs Nature Trail and the Ricardo Campground.  We stayed overnight at Mojave so we can drive to Grizzly Falls the next day in Sequoia National Park.

The Red Cliffs Nature Trail was quite windy in the evening, we came back in the morning and much better. The rock formation was beautiful.

The Hagen Nature Trail is next to Red Cliffs on the other side, just turn right and the left turn lane is there. It’s also beautiful and the Ricardo Campground is on the way too.
