How To Use VCDS (Vag-Com) With Mac OS X

These days, many people moved from Windows OS to Mac OS X computers. Audi uses VCDS diagnostic software to diagnose problems and stuff, but VCDS only runs in Windows OS. VMware Fusion 7 will help to run Windows in Virtual machine without logging out and boot into Windows OS. VMware Fusion is painless to install and so user friendly. It detects USB port easily which make it easy to connect to the VCDS OBDII. We can download VMware Fusion to make sure it works with the version of Mac OS X and hardware before buying it.

  • Trying to decide if my A8 is time to dispose and replace or fix. I really appreciate your insight on your website or web pages I found myself thinking the very same thing about a few Audi that I’ve had just amazing how expensive they were to begin with and help people are more than happy to just off load them even at nearly 250,000 miles my 97 a8 still drives smoother than many new cars. Pipe that goes into or exits the heater core broke. It looks like it can be bypassed but then there is no heat or a at least $1500.00 fix at a shop. AC is dead too. But at least before the pipe broke it drives well.
I was able to pull over and shut it off like 30-45 seconds after it blew when the pipe broke.

Hopefully no further damage was caused if it heated up quickly.

    Thanks

    • Hello Ben,
Now you can get a 2000+ for next to nothing anywhere. A8 or A8L will be great. The D2 are comfortable and easy to maintain compares to all other cars IMO.
Cheers and good luck with your decision,

      Louis
